Newark Christmas Lights Switch On
The Newark Christmas Lights Switch-On is back for 2023. Join the Christmas celebrations with this FREE event that kicks off the festive season with fun activities, music performers, foodie trucks and fireworks. The marketplace will be full of vibrant displays and boasts 130 market stalls bustling with Christmas wreaths, mulled wines and ciders plus artisan crafts to get everyone in the spirit of all things Christmas!

Great British Food Festival
Hardwick Hall – the stunning Elizabethan country house based in Chesterfield – will host the Great British Food Festival 2022.
Along with wonderful food and drink there will be chef demos, competitions, artisan talks, games and activities for the kids, and excellent live music.
Throughout the day there will also be live music from top local bands so you can do some shopping, grab some food and have a well earned relax with a local beer (or two!) whilst listening to some great entertainment.

Ay-up Market
Nottingham City Council, in collaboration with Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID), the organisation behind It’s in Nottingham; is proud to present the first Ay-UpMarket.
The three-day event will run in Old Market Square from Friday 16th June to Sunday 18th June .
The Ay-UpMarket gives Nottingham’s independent retail businesses, both bricks and mortar and online the opportunity to trade at a unique event to highlight the city’s fantastic independent retail sector.

Festival of Food and Drink
Now in its ninth year, the Festival of Food and Drink takes place on 17th & 18th September 2022 at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.
This celebration of local producers and global flavours attracts some of the UK's best traders and street food vendors, with stalls selling out fast. There's also a delicious selection of Vegan food for all to enjoy with plenty of new companies making their debut.
With lots of entertainment for all the family including children's cookery workshops, live music, giftware, cocktail bars and breweries, it's no surprise that the Festival of Food and Drink is the biggest and most popular in the region.

Lincolnshire County Show
See spectacular entertainment in the Main Ring, shop delicious local produce in the Food Court and explore beautiful blooms, local art and handmade crafts in the Lincolnshire Lifestyle Marquee. Take a seat to watch top chefs in The Lincolnshire Kitchen, immerse yourself in agriculture with a packed timetable of livestock and equine classes and head to the Agricultural Lines to see machinery from past and present. Our Aviation Zone celebrates Lincolnshire’s rich aviation heritage, and there’s plenty for our younger visitors to see, make and do in the Discovery, Sport and Kids Zones.
Nottingham County Show
The Nottinghamshire County Show will celebrate the best of Nottinghamshire and this year we are taking the show back to its agricultural roots within the rural community of the Midlands, celebrating everything from livestock, equine, countryside competitions with trade stands, local food producers and craft stalls.
The show provides a great platform for local and regional businesses to showcase products and services to thousands of visitors, including those within the agricultural community. Being one of the first county shows in the UK events calendar, it will be a great opportunity to start off the show season!

Newark Garden Show
You will find an abundance of indoor and outdoors trade stands, selling everything from unique garden art sculptures, garden furniture and fire pits to bird tables, planters and a selection of other products from almost 100 leading exhibitors.
Inside the Food and Drink Court, you’ll find a range of food and drink purveyors, including tastings and samples. From some of the UK’s finest wines and spirits to home-made cakes, fudge, nougat, chutneys, cheeses and pastries – you’ll find a great selection of mouth-watering treats available for purchase.
For gifts and crafts, the Country & Craft stands are filled with a selection of original handmade giftware, jewellery and luxury goods.
